Myths Vs Facts On Ghee. Myths related to ghee, due to which people do not consume it


Ghee is very nutritious, but due to some myths people avoid consuming it. Today we will talk about these myths related to eating ghee. Eating ghee is good for health. It contains many nutrients which make the health healthy. According to Ayurveda doctor Varalakshmi Yanamandra, ghee is neither too hot nor too cold, so it balances both Vata and Kapha. Ghee is a great memory enhancer and is also best for curing ulcers inside our stomach.
Myth 1: Eating ghee leads to weight gain
fact- Ayurveda experts said that if ghee is eaten in small quantities, it does not cause weight gain. When consumed in the right quantity, ghee promotes satiety and improves metabolism, which helps people control their weight.
Myth 2: Eating ghee can cause heart diseases
fact- Ayurveda experts said that ghee is rich in healthy fats like omega-3 and omega-9, which really makes it beneficial for the heart. If ghee is consumed daily, it promotes heart health. Eating it also helps in reducing bad cholesterol.

Myth 3: Not all fats in ghee are good for health
fact- Ayurveda experts said that all the fats present in ghee are beneficial. They support many bodily functions, from improving brain health to hormonal balance.
Myth 4: Ghee is not good for deep frying
fact- Ayurveda experts say that ghee is best for deep frying as it remains stable at high temperatures and does not oxidize unlike vegetable oils.

Myth 5: Ghee is difficult to digest
fact- Ghee contains butyrate, a fatty acid that supports gut health and digestion, making it easier to digest than many other fats.
