Symptoms of severe hypertension
If your blood pressure is too high, here are some of the symptoms you may notice:
– throbbing headache
– Nosebleed
– Tiredness
– vision problems
– Pain in the chest
– Difficulty breathing
– Irregular heartbeat
– Bleeding in the urine
If you have any of these symptoms, see a doctor immediately. You may be having a hypertensive crisis that can lead to a heart attack or stroke. You may also have another serious health condition.

Most of the time, high blood pressure does not cause headaches or nosebleeds. But it can occur if the blood pressure is above 180/120. If your blood pressure is too high and you have these symptoms, rest for 5 minutes and check again. Also remember that high blood pressure usually does not have symptoms. So everyone should get it checked regularly.
