A few days before his 39th birthday, Yash shared a post and wished his fans a special greeting. He wrote that with the beginning of a new year, it is time to think, resolve and create a new path. The love you all have given me over the past few years is nothing short of extraordinary. But some unfortunate incidents have also happened. Now is the time to change our love language. Especially when it comes to my birthday.
He further wrote that the expression of your love should not be about doing something big and crowded for me. The greatest gift to me is knowing that you are all safe, thinking positive, achieving your goals, spreading happiness.

Last year, 3 people were electrocuted while installing cutouts Yash's previous birthday was filled with tragedy. Like every time, this time also on his birthday, large cutouts of him were put up across the city and many fans gathered. While installing the cutout, 3 fans were electrocuted and died. The incident took place in Surnagi village of Gadang district.
Yash came to meet the family members of the deceased as soon as he came to know about the incident.
However, just before his last birthday, Yash had told his fans that he would not be able to meet his fans as he was busy shooting. He was busy shooting for 'Toxic'.
