Filmmaker Ekta Kapoor has now expressed her opinion on the issue of women's safety at the workplace. At the trailer launch event of her upcoming film 'The Buckingham Murders', Ekta also made a statement on the Hema Committee report. The filmmaker said that the issue is not limited to the film industry but extends to every woman present in the workplace. Director Hansal Mehta, who was present at the event, said that now is the time that men should shoulder the responsibility of ensuring women's safety and equality. This concerns every woman in the workplace and we take this issue seriously. And as I said, 'More women have to lead now so more women can be involved.' On this occasion she gave an example of her film saying that two women producers have made a film together in which a woman officer solves a criminal case. In a way, this is a step towards safety and strength. 'Women have to take initiative for change' Ekta added, 'We have to shift the agency from men to women and make it equal. We need women in top positions or running companies. And for this only women have to take the initiative. As I said, a report will come out and people will read more about it, but women have to take the initiative to maintain a safe environment for women in any workplace.
