Akshay Kumar has broken his silence on the news that he backed out of the sets of 'Bigg Boss 18' without shooting due to Salman Khan's late arrival. Akshay Kumar clarified that he already had some important commitments, due to which he had to go.
At a recent press conference in Delhi, when Akshay was asked if he had to leave the set without shooting because of Salman's late arrival, he replied, 'I reached there on time, but Salman arrived a little late. He had some personal work, so he told me that he would be late by about 40 minutes. But I had to leave because I already had some commitments. We talked about it and I left the set, but Veer was there and he shot with Salman.
However, Salman Khan also said in the finale episode that Akshay Kumar is going to accompany Veer Pahadia to promote his upcoming film 'Sky Force'. But he was a bit late and Akshay Kumar had to leave for a function, so he left.
Akshay Kumar will be seen in the film 'Sky Force' 'Sky Force' is directed by Sandeep Kelwani and Abhishek Kapoor. The film depicts the real story of the 1965 India-Pakistan war. Apart from Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahadia, the film also stars Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur. Akshay Kumar's character is inspired by Wing Commander OP Taneja, while Veer Pahadia is seen in the role of late squadron leader Amjad B Devaiah. Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan plays his wife.
