Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has been struggling a lot lately. His films are not doing as well in theaters as they used to do before the lockdown. There was a time before the lockdown when Akshay did many films with a social message.
Now he has said that he likes films that have such a social message. He knows that there is a risk of losing business in making such films, so he makes such films himself.
Why does Akshay do films with a social message? In an interview given to ANI, Akshay talked about such films and said, 'This is my way of giving something back to the society. I know that if I do 'Singh is King', 'Sooryavanshi' or 'Rowdy Rathore'… I will earn three to four times more if I do such films. I can do this easily.'
On doing films with a social message, Akshay continued, 'To be honest, I enjoy doing 'Airlift', I made 'Toilet Ek Prem Katha' on toilets, I made a film on sanitary pads… There are many things that permeate our society. has gone Something that has become a habit and people do not correct their habit is seen as a taboo or a prohibition to correct it. So I feel like making films and I do. Even when I know I won't get that much back, I still make it. I know these films will not do much business, but they are not about business. Anyone dare to make movies on masterbation and sex education? You tell me if any actor has done such movies? You won't find any here or in Hollywood.
'I have loved these types of films since childhood' Akshay said that he has been fond of films with a social message since his childhood. He always wanted to make such films but at first he didn't have enough money. So when he got enough money and opened his own production house, he started making such films.
Talking about Akshay's films, despite his last few flops, he has no dearth of new projects. Akshay in 2025 'Skyforce', 'Jolly LLB. 3', will be seen in films like 'Housefull 5' and 'Welcome to the Jungle'.
