'Viki Vidya Ka Wo Wala Video' released in theaters today
What is the story of the film? The story of the film is from 1997 Rishikesh. Vicky (Rajkumar Rao) works as a henna artist. He gets married to Doctor Vidya (Tripti Dimri). Both make a video of their wedding night. One day his house was stolen. A video CD of the wedding night was also stolen along with the goods. Inspector (Vijay Raj) starts investigating the case. Meanwhile, the inspector's heart falls for Vicky's sister Chanda (Mallika Sherawat). Vicky wants to get Suhagarat's CD at any cost. In this affair, he gets involved in a murder case. How does Vicky prove herself innocent and get the CD and what twists and turns occur during the process? You have to watch the movie to know this.
How is the acting of the star cast? Rajkumar Rao has once again managed to win the hearts of the audience after 'Stree 2'. He had good chemistry with Tripti Dimri in this film. The timing of dialogue delivery by both is superb. Mallika has made a great comeback in the role of Chanda. His pairing with Vijay Raaz is good. Tiku Talsania as Vicky's grandfather, Archana Puran Singh as Vidya's mother, Rakesh Bedi as father and Mukesh Tiwari have tried to do full justice to their respective roles.
How is the direction of the film? The specialty of Raj Shandilya's films is that he brings beautiful stories revolving around small towns and cities. He has also written a similar story with Yusuf Ali Khan. The story of the film is from the 90s. He has taken full care of the environment and costumes of that time. The first half of the film is entertaining, but the story seems a little lost in the second half. The ghost of the red couple in the graveyard reminds me of Rajkumar Rao's 'Stree'.
How is the music of the film? Good music is expected from T series films. But this movie doesn't have any new song which is remembered after watching the movie. Songs from the 90s 'Na Na Na Na Na Re', 'Tumhen Apna Banane', 'Zinda Rahe Ke Liye' have been recreated. The background music of the film is average.
Finally, to watch or not? Along with entertainment, this film also gives a special message. This movie can be watched once.
