Tripti Dimri doesn't consider 'Animal' to be an anti-feminist film: She said- I don't tag films, I do whatever role I like

Tripti Dimri played the role of Zoya in the 2023 film Animal, which gave her a distinct identity in Bollywood. During a recent interview, Tripti revealed why she did 'Animal', which some consider an anti-feminist film. While earlier she had played the characters of many strong women.

Talking to Filmfare, Tripti Dimri said, 'I don't consider 'Animal' to be an anti-feminist film. I don't give such tags to films. When I did 'Bulbul' and 'Kaala', I didn't think I was doing a feminist film. I just connected with the characters and trusted the director and felt it was the right thing to do.

Tripti said, I had not met Sandeep sir when I was offered 'Animal' and had heard a lot about the story. But he told about my character. The highlight for me was that till now I have always played good and lovable characters, with people showing sympathy towards the end. I felt this was a good opportunity where I could do something different.
