Special screening of 'Sholay' to be held in Mumbai: The film will be screened in a 50-year-old vintage CinemaScope print, with director Salim-Javed present

A special screening of Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra starrer blockbuster 'Sholay' has been scheduled on August 31, Saturday in Mumbai. Industry renowned writer Salim-Javed will also celebrate his 50 years during this screening. Screening to be held at Regal Cinemas on Saturday The film will be screened on August 31 at 5:30 PM at Regal Cinemas, Mumbai. The film will be screened in a 50-year-old vintage CinemaScope print. The film's director Ramesh Sippy and writer Salim-Javed will also be present on this occasion. There is talk that apart from these three, other actors associated with the film will also be seen in the screening. Zoya Akhtar informed that Salim-Javed based docudrama 'Angry Young Man' has been released recently. Its producer Zoya Akhtar has given information about the screening of 'Sholay' on her social media account. The recently released 'Angry Young Man' docudrama 'Angry Young Man' talks about Salim-Javed's conflict, career and their separation. Apart from their children Salman-Arbaaz Khan and Farhan-Zoya Akhtar, many famous actors of Bollywood have shared their stories related to Salim-Javed. Many celebs including Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, South Superstar Yash, Karan Johar, Farah Khan have discussed both in this series. The movie 'Sholay' was released in the year 1975. It starred many famous actors including Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Sanjeev Kumar, Hema Malini, Jaya Bachchan, Amjad Khan, Satyen Kappu, AK Hangal, Jagdeep and Asrani.
