Decided not to marry two days before the wedding Shilpa Shinde was engaged to TV actor Romit Raj, however the two broke up after some time. Shilpa and Romit Raj met during the serial Myka (2007-2009). Romit was three years younger than Shilpa. The two fell in love and then decided to get married in 2009. According to media reports, the two decided to get married in Goa on 29 November 2009, but two days before the wedding, Shilpa decided not to marry.
The name was also associated with Rahil Azam Earlier, Shilpa Shinde's name was associated with Rahil Azam. Rahil and Shilpa first worked together in the serial 'Bhabhi' (2002-2008). After this both were also seen in the serial 'Hatim' (2003). After living together for a few days, the two separated by mutual consent.
