Shatrughan Sinha recently arrived at 'The Great Indian Kapil Show' along with his wife Poonam, daughter Sonakshi and son-in-law Zaheer Iqbal. Meanwhile, he made many revelations about his personal life. Shatrughan Sinha said that his mother-in-law did not like him and rejected the actor.

In fact Archana Puran Singh asked Poonam Sinha whether she proposed first or Shatrughna. Responding to this, Shatrughan said that Poonam had asked him to propose for marriage. Poonam then revealed that Shatrughan's elder brother had come to her house to talk about marriage, but her mother did not approve of the marriage and directly said that her daughter would not marry anyone associated with the film industry.

Meanwhile, Shatrughan Sinha revealed, 'When my brother went to her (Poonam Sinha) house, my mother-in-law said to her, have you seen your brother? This Bihari is a street bully and our daughter is milk washed, fair and Miss India. If we stand the two together and take a color photo, it will appear black and white.

Shatrughan and Poonam got married in 1980. Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha first met on a train from Patna to Mumbai. The two dated each other for some time and then got married on 9 July 1980.

Sonakshi-Zaheer got married on June 23 Actress Sonakshi, daughter of Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, had a registered marriage with Zaheer Iqbal on June 3. After this, he hosted a marriage reception on the night of 23 June at Bastion Restaurant in Mumbai which was attended by many big stars of the film industry including Salman Khan, Rekha, Kajol.
