The makers of the film Sony Pictures are also ready to offer him the role but Mukesh Khanna has been opposing it for a long time. Recently he has once again said the same thing in an interview. Talking to Bollywood Thikana, Mukesh said, People know that Ranveer Singh came to convince me to play Shaktiman. I also had a dispute with Sony TV regarding this because I did not allow Ranveer to play this role. That day Ranveer sat with me for 3 hours but I told him that he doesn't have what Shaktimaan's face should look like.
Mukesh also shared a picture of his meeting with Ranveer.
Along with this, Mukesh Khanna also talked about Ranveer Singh's nude photo shoot. He said, I don't want Ranveer to play Shaktiman because of that photo shoot. However, Ranveer told me that he did not pose nude in the photo shoot but wore underwear. But I remembered his old statement where he said that he is comfortable in nude pose.
Even his wife is comfortable in this, she also did not oppose it, every wife should have objection against such things, should not go this far.
