On October 15, filmmaker Sandeep Singh announced 'Fauji 2' in association with Doordarshan. This time the show will see 12 new faces apart from Ankita Lokhande's husband Vicky Jain, Gauahar Khan. Meanwhile, according to a media report, in 2009, Shah Rukh Khan started making 'Fauji 2' under his banner with Pulkit Samrat and Roopal Tyagi. However, the show never went on air.
Talking to India Today, Pulkit Samrat said, 'Meeting Shahrukh Khan was very special. I followed him from Delhi to Mumbai. Then I got an opportunity to work in their banner Red Chillies Entertainment's show 'Fauji 2'. I played the role of Shah Rukh Khan's son in this. It's a big deal for me to get a chance to work with him. Sadly, the show never went on air.
Pulkit Samrat said, 'Shahrukh Khan is a very humble person. He taught me a lot while shooting. Explained him how to work on set. How actors use every space on set. Not only that, he also told me some secrets of his work.
Roopal Tyagi also shared about meeting Shah Rukh Khan. The actress said, 'I got the lead role in Shah Rukh Khan's 'Fauji 2'. He always encouraged people on the sets. Knew about everyone's role. He kissed them all on the forehead and said, 'I hope that Fauji 2 will do for all of you what Fauji 1 did for me.'
