Shah Rukh Khan's iconic serial 'Fauji' is now going to make a comeback on TV after 35 years. Filmmaker Sandeep Singh has announced 'Fauji 2' in association with Doordarshan. The show will be based on the challenges, struggles and camaraderie of army men. In which new actors will be shown in important roles.
Filmmaker Sandeep Singh said, 'We are bringing back one of the best shows on TV in a new and entertaining way. 1989's 'Fauji' gave us an actor like Shah Rukh Khan. Shah Rukh became the king of Bollywood in no time. Now through 'Fauji 2', I want to make history again and connect with every Indian, especially the youth.

The stars will be seen in Fauji 2 Ankita Lokhande's husband Vicky Jain will make his acting debut with 'Fauji 2'. Vicky will be seen in the role of Colonel Sanjay Singh in this show. Gauahar Khan will play the role of Lt. Col. Simarjit Kaur, a cadet trainer who is proficient in weapon handling.

Apart from this, 12 actors will enter the world of acting through this show. It includes names of newcomers like Ashish Bharadwaj, Utkarsh Kohli, Rudra Soni, Amardeep Phogat, Ayan Manchanda, Neil Satgupta, Priyanshu Rajguru, Aman Singh Deep, Udit Kapoor, Manshi and Sushmita Bhandari.

Fauji 2 will have 11 songs 'Fauji 2' will have 11 songs. Its title track is sung by Sonu Nigam. It will have music by Shreyas Puranik and voice by Sharad Kelkar. Fauji 2 is being produced by Sandeep Singh, Vicky Jain, Zafar Mehndi and Sameer Halim. While Abhinav Pareek will direct it. Nishant Chandrasekhar will also be with him. Apart from Hindi, the show will be telecast in Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Punjabi and Bengali on Doordarshan. However, its release date has not been announced yet.
