Bigg Boss 17's famous contestant and lawyer Sana Raees Khan has been accused. Ashfaq Hussain, a social worker living in Bandra, Mumbai, has filed a complaint against him in the Bar Council. The complaint states that despite being a lawyer, Sana Raees Khan has done many things which are against the rules related to his profession.
Ashfaq Hussain says that the money Sana Rais Khan has earned as a lawyer is against the rules of the lawyer's profession. According to the complaint, Sana participated in 'Bigg Boss 17' and earned money from a film based on Indrani Mukherjee's story on Netflix. Apart from this, he also bought the Mumbai Marine Cricket Team, whose captain is the famous cricketer Irfan Pathan.
The complaint states that Sana has violated Section 35 of the Advocates Act. Apart from this, Sections 47, 48 and 49 have also been cited.
According to these rules, a lawyer must only practice law and is not allowed to earn money from any other work.
Ashfaq Hussain has requested the Bar Council to revoke Sana's license as a lawyer. He says that this behavior of Sana is not good for the respect of the lawyer and his work.
When Frontpage Insights asked Sana about this, she said, 'All this is baseless, ignore it.'
Notably, Sana Raees Khan is also actress Rupali Ganguly's lawyer in the defamation case against her stepdaughter Esha Verma.
