What is the whole matter? The Jodhpur police registered a complaint against Salman Khan and others on October 2, 1998 in connection with antelope-deer poaching. Bishnoi community filed a case against Salman. Salman was then arrested on October 12, 1998 under the Black Antelope Hunting and Arms Act. After five days, the actor got bail.

Salman was convicted on February 17, 2006 in a case of deer poaching in Bhawad. On April 10, 2006, the court found Salman guilty in the poaching case in the Ghoda Farmhouse area and sentenced him to five years in prison and a fine of 25,000. Salman has got relief from the High Court in both the cases.
