Ratan Tata's ex-girlfriend Simi Garewal pays tearful tribute: Salman Khan, Rajamouli among many celebs mourn Ratan Tata's demise

Tata Sons Chairman Emeritus Ratan Tata breathed his last on Wednesday October 9 at 11 pm at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. Many film celebs including PM Narendra Modi, Salman Khan, Kamal Haasan and Rajamouli have also expressed their grief over the death of Ratan Tata. Actress Simi Garewal, who was once in the news due to her affair with Ratan Tata, has also remembered the businessman by sharing a post on social media.

Ratan Tata's body, draped in tricolor, has been kept at the National Center for Performing Arts (NCPA) for darshan.

Simi said- They say you are gone While sharing a picture with Simi Garewal from her show Rondevu with Ratan Tata on Twitter, Simi wrote, 'They say you are gone. Losing you is so hard to bear… so hard. Goodbye my friend.

Simi interviewed Ratan Tata on his show in 1997.

Simi Garewal was in love with Ratan Tata Simi Garewal once loved Ratan Tata very much. He admitted this in an interview given to ETimes in 2011. The actress said that she was dating Ratan Tata for some time. Later they broke up but they always remained good friends.

Simi and Ratan wanted to get married According to media reports, Simi Garewal and Ratan Tata wanted to marry each other but due to some reasons their relationship could not take off. Later, when Ratan Tata became a part of Simi's show, he made interesting revelations about his career, love life and personal life.

There was a time when news of their affair was in the news.

Tata never married. In an interview given in 2011, he said – 'I came very close to getting married 4 times, but each time I backed out due to some fear.'

Kamal Haasan called Ratan Tata his hero Apart from Simi, South superstar Kamal Haasan also tweeted on Tata's demise. He wrote, 'Ratan Tataji was my personal hero. I tried to be like him all my life. His contribution to the country will always be linked to the stories of modern India.

Kamal Haasan tweeted to remember Ratan Tata.

Many other celebs including Salman Khan, Jr NTR and Chiranjeevi also paid tribute to Ratan Tata through their tweets.

Salman Khan wrote that he is sad to hear the news of Tata's death.

Junior NTR wrote that Tata had a heart of gold.

Chiranjeevi wrote that this is a sad day for the entire country.

Rajamouli said – Legend remains immortal Noted south director SS Rajamouli also paid tribute to Ratan Tata. The director tweeted, 'Legends are born and immortal. It is very difficult to even think of passing a day without using Tata products.. Thank you sir for all you have done for the country.

Rajamouli also paid tribute to Ratan Tata.
