Rajpal Yadav gained recognition with a minor role in the 1999 film 'Shool'. After this, his career changed completely after the film 'Jungal' in 2000. Rajpal received this award for the film 'Jungal' directed by Ram Gopal Varma. He said that this was the official first film of his career, for which he was credited. The actor said that after the success of this film, he signed around 15-16 films in one to one and a half months.

The actor said, I remember when we were shooting for a film company in Hong Kong, which was my first business tour. We used to joke with each other whenever we got time.
