'Rahul walked away laughing when invited to watch a film': Kangana said- Rahul's behavior is strange, not polite; A woman like sister Priyanka

Actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut said- Rahul Gandhi's behavior is strange. They have no manners.

In a media interview, Kangana said – 'I invited him to watch my film 'Emergency' in the winter session of Parliament. I told Rahul – you should watch this film on the life of your grandmother and former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. You will like this.

Kangana said- She tried her best to play the role of Indira Gandhi Kangana said, 'I have directed the film and also played the lead role in the film. I think I have portrayed a personality very intelligently in the film. I have tried my best to play the role of former PM Indira Gandhi well. We have done a lot of research on his personal and professional life for this film.'

Sikhs objected to some scenes in the old trailer Kangana shared the new trailer of the film on social media X on January 6. Some scenes have been removed from the new trailer. All scenes misrepresenting Jarnail Singh Bhindranwala and Sikhs as Khalistani have been removed from the new trailer. Earlier, the trailer of the film Emergency was released on August 14, 2024. In which Sikhs were shown firing bullets. Sikhs allege that an attempt was made to portray them as terrorists.

The film was earlier slated to release on September 6, 2024 The Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Samiti (SGPC), the apex body of Sikhs, along with Sarabjit Singh, an independent MP from Faridkot, objected to the scene in the trailer released on August 14, 2024. The film will release on January 17 after getting the green signal from the Censor Board. The film was earlier slated to release on 6 September 2024, but did not receive clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

The first trailer of the film Emergency was released on 14 August.

3 scenes were deleted from the film About 4 months ago, the CBFC had withheld the film's certificate after objections from Sikh organizations. CBFC had instructed to delete 3 scenes from this film. Along with this, a strict instruction was given that 10 changes should be made to the film before its release. Kangana also expressed anger about this.

Why was the whole matter put on the emergency release of the film. Kangana and Zee Studios applied for the release of the film. He objected that the Censor Board had earlier given a certificate to the film, but banned it four days before its release on September 6.

After this, Kangana alleged that the Censor Board is not giving the certificate to the film, due to which the release of the film is being delayed.

In the petition, Kangana and the filmmakers accused the Censor Board of arbitrarily withholding the film's certificate. The Censor Board gave the certificate through e-mail, but refused to give the copy of the certificate 4 days before the release.

To this, Censor Board lawyer Abhinav Chandrachud said that the makers of Emergency received the system-generated mail, but later it was stopped due to objections.

Kangana has directed and produced the film Emergency. In this film, she played the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

Kangana said- Censor board people are receiving threats On the stalling of the film's release, Kangana said that the CBFC had approved the film, but later the certificate was withheld. This happened because he was getting a lot of death threats. Censor board people are also receiving threats.

Kangana is an MP from Mandi seat in Himachal Kangana Ranaut had contested from the Mandi Lok Sabha seat in Himachal on a BJP ticket in the elections held last year. He defeated Congress candidate Vikramaditya Singh, son of former Himachal CM Virbhadra Singh.

Kangana's film 'Emergency' is based on a period of 21 months from 1975 to 1977. When the former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi declared emergency in the whole country citing the danger in the country. The film will release in theaters on January 17.
