Radhika Apte recently gave birth to a baby girl. Now in an interview Radhika talks about her changing body, difficult pregnancy and changes in her life. According to Radhika, this pregnancy was not an accident for her. But she was definitely shocked by this. However, now she has accepted these changes and is very happy.
In an interview with Vogue magazine, Radhika Apte said, 'I was devastated when I found out about my pregnancy. I told everyone the very next day. However, I didn't want to tell anyone. But it all happened suddenly, which was so funny how it happened, because we didn't even think about it.
Radhika said, 'I think when people know whether they want a child or not, everything becomes easier. In our situation, neither of us had ever thought about children. But there was a small question that if there is a child, how will it be. Then when this happened, we started thinking whether we should pursue it or not.
Radhika said, 'I did a photo shoot a week before giving birth. Actually, at that time I was finding it difficult to accept my body. I had never gained so much weight. My body was swollen, my pelvis ached and my thinking was altered due to lack of sleep. It's not even two weeks since I became a mother, and my body has changed again.
Radhika further said, 'Now I have accepted my body. These are all new experiences. Learning new things. My perspective has also changed. Now I see only beauty in these changes and I know I will always remember these photos.
Radhika further said, 'I know most women have had difficult pregnancies. Actually it is like menopause or periods. Hormones are no joke. But when we talk openly about periods and menopause. Pregnancy is always described as a different experience. Yes, having a baby is amazing, but no one talks about the hard parts of pregnancy and I find that weird.
