'Pushpa-2' actor Allu Arjun was released from Chanchalguda Central Jail at around 6.30 am on Saturday. His father Allu Arvind and father-in-law Kancharla Chandrasekhar Reddy reached the jail to pick him up. Allu remained in custody for about 18 hours. After the release, Allu reached Geetha Arts production house.
After this Allu reached his home in Hyderabad around 9 pm. After the actor was spotted at home, he hugged his mother and went inside. Met the family members. After which he came out again and spoke to the media.

I would like to thank all the fans for the love and support. There is nothing to worry about. I'm fine! I am a law abiding citizen. I once again convey my condolences to the bereaved family. It was an unfortunate incident. We are sorry for what happened.

Allu was arrested on the afternoon of December 13, bailed by evening Alluni police arrested him on December 13 at 12 noon. He was alleged to have arrived at the Sandhya theater unannounced on December 4 during the premiere of Pushpa 2 in Hyderabad. Due to which a crowd gathered there and a stampede took place. In which one woman was killed and several people were injured.
After his arrest, he was produced in a local court at 4 pm, from where he was sent to 14 days judicial custody. Allu appealed to the Telangana High Court for interim bail.
At 5 pm he received Rs. An interim bail was granted on a personal bond of 50,000. Meanwhile, Allu was taken to Chanchalguda Central Jail. There he was kept in Class-I barracks.
It was expected that Allu would be released on Friday night itself but it didn't happen. The jail administration said that the copy of the court order was not received.
Allu's lawyer said – Allu Arjun has been released now. A copy of the High Court order was given to the jail administration, but he was not released earlier. This is illegal detention, we will take legal action. Jail administration has to answer.
Allu said – the police did not even let him have breakfast. On Friday, Allu Arjun objected to the manner of his arrest. The actor claimed that the police did not let him finish his breakfast. Changing of clothes is also not allowed. A video of Allu also surfaced.
In this way, they get down from the house and come to the parking lot. There his servant comes running and offers tea and water. In the video, he is seen drinking tea. Meanwhile his wife Sneha Reddy is seen. Allu explains to his wife. After this the police take them away.

A case was registered against Allu under section 105, 118 (1) of BNS Police had earlier arrested Allu Arjun from his house. After this his statement was recorded. He was then taken to Osmania Hospital for a medical checkup. Meanwhile, his father-in-law Kancharla Chandrasekhar Reddy reached the Chikkadapally police station in Hyderabad.
A case has been registered against Allu Arjun under section 105, 118 (1) of BNS. This is a non-bailable clause. Allu's personal bodyguard Santosh has also been arrested by the police. In the High Court, Allu's lawyer Shoka Reddy mentioned Shahrukh's film Raees Case in his defence. He said, 'During a promotion in Gujarat, Khan threw a T-shirt into the crowd. After this there was a stampede. The actor was charged with culpable homicide in this case. The lawyer said that Gujarat High Court and Supreme Court have given relief to Shah Rukh.
On Allu's arrest, Varun Dhawan said, 'An actor cannot take everything on himself. We can explain to those around us. The accident that happened is very painful. I pay homage. It's unfortunate, but we can't blame just one person.

The police resorted to lathi charge to control the crowd. After the crowd subsided, people who became unconscious due to suffocation were admitted to the hospital. But in the meantime, the doctor declared the woman dead in the hospital.
