Pooja Bhatt told the secret of giving up alcohol: The actress said – a message from her father changed her life, then nature also gave all the happiness

Pooja Bhatt recently revealed that her father's messages helped her quit drinking. Pooja got addicted to alcohol at the age of 16. Then father Mahesh Bhatt helped him to come out of bad times.

In an interview to Dainik Bhaskar, Pooja said, 'When I decided to give up alcohol, I wanted to be the best example of myself. Bhatt sir sent me a message, which helped me a lot to come out of all this. In that message he wrote- If you love me, love yourself.

I can only love myself if I stop drinking. From the day I took the small step of quitting alcohol, nature has given me so much happiness.

Pooja's personal life has always been in the news

Pooja Bhatt's personal life has also always been in discussion. The news of her and Ranveer Shourie's affair was also much discussed. After the breakup, both of them made many serious accusations against each other.

After her separation from Ranveer, Pooja married businessman Manish Makhija in 2003. However, their relationship also did not last long and she divorced Manish in 2014.

Pooja Bhatt made her Bollywood debut with the film Daddy (1989). His father Mahesh Bhatt directed it. At this time Pooja was only 17 years old. His very bold look was seen in this film. Pooja also won the Filmfare New Face of the Year Award for the film.

Pooja Bhatt's entry into Bollywood

Pooja's 1991 film Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin was the biggest hit of her career. He won the applause of the audience with this Aamir Khan starrer. In 1991, her performance in 'Sadak' opposite Sanjay Dutt was appreciated. Pooja was last seen in the 2022 film Chup.

In 2004, he made his directorial debut with the film 'Paap'. In 1996, she opened Pooja Bhatt Production Company, the first film under which 'Tamanna' was released in 2007.
