Faisal Khan, one such boy grew up in the streets of Mumbai. The family was very poor. Father used to drive an auto. The compulsion was such that on the days when the rickshaws did not run, it was the turn to go hungry. Faisal had a talent for dancing. Today, because of this talent, he is a big TV star. In 2012, he became the winner of the dance reality show 'DID Little Master-2'. The show gave him a new identity.
Soon acting offers also started coming. Bought a house in Mumbai from his earnings. Buy a Mercedes car. Opened a shop for father. However, it was not all that easy. Problems arose at every turn. Heard the taunts of the people. There came a time when thoughts of suicide started swirling around him.
Faisal did not even have money for food at one point. But in any show he goes to today, he becomes the highest paid actor or contestant.
Let's read the story from struggle to success in his own words
The day the rickshaw breaks down, one has to be hungry My career started with 'Dance India Dance Little Master'. I knew dance from childhood, I had no idea about acting. There was no money to pay for dance class fees either. My father used to drive an auto. It ran the house. That auto was not his own, father had rented it from someone. On the day when the auto malfunctioned, the stove did not burn at home. We used to be hungry.'
Relatives say – dances, is gay 'When I started dancing as a child, people around me used to taunt me. Some relatives called me 'gay' because I used to dance. I used to wear my father's clothes, which was also bad for him. They would say, look, he goes around wearing his father's clothes.'
'Dad was the only person who supported me the most. He used to take me to the audition in the local train. I used to sleep on his lap in the train while coming and going.'
Sometimes my body would get stiff while dancing. Then the father used to press the whole body at home. My muscles were relaxing. I have not told this to anyone.'

He came to the audition wearing a 100 rupee T-shirt During the 'Dance India Dance' audition, he went to the show wearing a T-shirt worth Rs 100 and pants worth Rs 200. Used to buy and wear clothes from roadside lorries. At that time I did not know what showrooms etc. were. Could only see the showroom from a distance.'
Lived in Chali, then directly bought a flat 'After working in the TV show Maharana Pratap, my life changed. With my earnings, I bought a flat in Mira Road, Mumbai. Before that, the whole family was living in a chali in Ghatkopar.'
'When I bought the house, everyone I knew was shocked. They couldn't believe how he bought a house in a big building straight from the move. No one believed that dance could bring such fame.
When I broke my leg, it felt like everything was over 'There came a moment in life when it seemed that everything was over. My leg was broken. Dancing became impossible. I couldn't figure out what to do. The responsibility of the house was on me.
If one had to sit at home, it would have been difficult to meet the expenses. I started thinking what skills do I have other than dancing?. I knew how to drive. I also thought that if I can't do anything, I will become someone's driver.'
Faisal fell from a horse while shooting for the TV show 'Chandragupta Maurya (2019)'.
Suicidal thoughts started coming, felt like jumping off the building 'When the leg recovered a bit, a lockdown was imposed. There was nothing to do. At that time I was depressed. Random thoughts started coming to mind.'
'I felt like jumping off a building and committing suicide, but I also thought about what would happen to my family if something happened to me. However, things got better as the days went by. When the leg was completely healed, I started getting work. After a little trouble everything went well.'
He was white in appearance, that's why the film of 'Yash Raj' did not get I also auditioned for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film 'Bajirao Masta'. He was also selected. Bhansali sir was very happy. Everything is finalized. Then all of a sudden it finally happened that it was rejected from the front. I was absolutely devastated.'
'Similarly, the film 'Gunde' of 'Yash Raj Banner' also remained popular. In that film, I had to play the childhood role of either Ranveer Singh or Arjun Kapoor. I didn't get the role just because I was quite white.'
'The makers were looking for a boy with dusky skin. I also said that I would tan my skin by being in the sun, but maybe the production people wanted something else.'
'Well, whatever happens happens for good. I got two different shows around the time these two films were released. Both fame and money came from those two shows.'
The first car was Maruti, now owned by Mercedes 'I was very fond of cars since childhood. Even when I didn't have anything, I only thought about cars. After winning DID I bought a second hand Maruti Wagon-R. Sitting in my own car for the first time was a very pleasant experience.'
Faisal used to stick pictures of Mercedes cars on the walls of his house. To the extent that he used to post pictures of the same car on your WhatsApp DP as well. Now he has bought that car. He has two cars and a bike
