Pavitra Gowda, the prime accused in the Renuka Swamy murder case, was released from the Parappana Agrahara Central Jail on Tuesday. According to PTI, the Karnataka High Court recently released the actress on bail with some conditions. Darshan and other accused have also been released on bail, including Anu Kumar alias Anu, R Nagaraju, Jagadish alias Jagga, Lakshman M and Pradush S Rao.
Worshiped Vajra Muneshwar temple After coming out of jail, Pavitra Gowda along with her family went to Vajra Muneshwar temple in Talagattpura. There he prayed specially for darshan. During the pooja, the actress looked quite emotional and started circumambulating around the temple with an incense stick. After completing the pooja, she did not speak to the media and just said 'thank you' and left in her car. His family warded off the evil eye by breaking ashwagandha as per temple tradition.
7 months in jail The paparazzi captured this incident on their cameras. It may be noted that Darshan was arrested on June 11 along with other 15 accused including Pavitra Gowda. He was earlier granted interim bail on medical grounds. He was released from Bellary Jail on 30 October after 4 months. The High Court granted him interim bail for 6 weeks to undergo spine surgery. However, according to reports, he did not undergo surgery and was discharged from the hospital.
