Movie Review- Deora Part-1: Koi Dum Nahi in the Story, Junior NTR and Saif Ali Khan's Acting Worthy of Appreciation

Junior NTR, Jhanvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan's movie 'Deora Part One' has released in theaters today. The duration of this film is 2 hours 58 minutes. Frontpage Insights has given the film a rating of 2.5 out of 5 stars.

What is the story of the film?

The film follows Devara (Jr NTR) and his family, who lead a sea clan and fight against sea smuggling and crime. Bhaira (Saif Ali Khan) comes across him, which escalates the conflict. The story of Deora and her son is based on a war between two generations driven by a conflict of power and ideals. Like the film tries for epic and conflict, but it lacks that story and freshness.

How is the acting of the star cast?

Junior NTR has played a double role in this film. He has played both the characters of Deora and Vara effectively. On the one hand, as Devara, he is humble and powerful, while on the other hand, as Vara, he is shown to be innocent and timid. Saif Ali Khan's performance as Bhaira is strong, especially when he is trying to take revenge on Deora. Jhanvi Kapoor's role is small, but the scenes with her and young NTR are very entertaining. Srikanth and Prakash Raj in supporting roles have also left a good impression in their roles.

How is the direction of the film?

Director Koratala Siva has presented stunning visuals and action sequences in the film. The film's action sequences and VFX are its biggest strengths. The cinematography is also amazing, especially the sea scenes. Speaking of which, the story is a bit weak and some scenes like Deora's last meeting with Bhaira are over in a hurry. Jhanvi's character could have been given more detail. Saif Ali Khan's character also weakens in the second half. The problem with South dubbed films is that the dubbing is not good enough for the audience in the Hindi belt. That is why the audience in the Hindi belt cannot connect with the film.

How is the music of the film?

Anirudh Ravichander's background score is fantastic and enhances the action sequences. The songs of the film are okay but don't have particularly memorable melodies.

Final Verdyke, worth watching or not?

If you are a fan of Jr NTR and want to enjoy massive action sequences, then Devara: Part 1 is a must watch. However, there is nothing new in the story and it is mostly understandable.
