It is said that there is a difference between the world of social media and the world of real life. Not everything that appears on social media is necessarily true. In many ways this adage proves true. Swiss model and catwalk coach Kristina Joksimovic often shares pictures with her husband Thomas and children on social media. Their family looked very happy and complete, but one day all illusions were shattered.

Famous model Christina suddenly disappeared. After hours of searching, the father's head was found in a plastic bag kept in the basement of the house. The first arrest in the case was Christina's husband Thomas. Allegations were that Thomas first beat Christina to death, dismembered her body and then ground her in a grinder and dismembered her. There were also reports that Christina had attacked her husband with a knife, but everyone was shocked to hear the truth that came out in the investigation.

Born in Switzerland in 1986, Kristina Joksimovic belonged to a wealthy family. He was interested in the glamor world since his childhood. This was the reason why she got into modeling from an early age. In 2003, at the age of just 17, Christina won the title of Miss North-West Switzerland. After this she started getting more modeling projects in Switzerland. At the age of 21, Christina participated in Miss Switzerland, in which she was a finalist. Amanda Ammann won the title of Miss Switzerland that year.
Since then, Christina became a household name in the modeling world. She worked as a model and catwalk training coach. Christina married Thomas in 2017, after which she gave birth to her first daughter in 2020 and second daughter in 2021.
After announcing the wedding, Christina captioned her husband – I love you more than yesterday, less than tomorrow.
Christina often posted beautiful pictures of the modeling world and family on social media. In August 2023, he posted a picture in which he called his family his world.

Christina lived with her family in the posh area of Binning near Basel, Switzerland. It was a normal day for everyone. Like every day, Christina prepared her two children and put them in kindergarten. Christina was also responsible for fetching the children from kindergarten. Staff members called Christina's number later that afternoon when she did not arrive at school to pick up the children. The number was switched off, so the school management called Christina's parents to inform them about this and asked them to pick up the children.
Christina's elder daughter is 4 years old and younger daughter is 3 years old.
When worried family members called Christina's husband Thomas, they were told that she had left for school some time ago. When Christina did not arrive at school hours later, her father arrived at the school and picked up the children.
He arrived directly at Christina's house in Binningin with the children. Thomas was present at home at that time. Christina's father continues to question Thomas about her absence, but he simply says that he has no knowledge of it. Seeing Christina's father upset at home, Thomas asks her to dine with him, to which she agrees. Christina's father left their home for a few hours to pick up her mother and then returned.
Thomas prepared dinner for everyone and everyone drank alcohol together. Even during dinner, Christina's father was worried about her. He was calling her number repeatedly, but the phone kept switching off.
At the dinner table, Christina's father said he wanted to file a missing person report, but Thomas said they should wait 24 hours. After dinner, Christina's father sat worriedly in the living area, while Thomas fed the children and fell asleep.

After sitting for a while Christina's father got up and started walking around the house trying to find out where she might have gone. After checking everywhere, he reached the laundry room located in the basement, where he noticed a black plastic bag. A few blonde hairs were sticking out of that bag.
His daughter Christina also had similar hair. When he panicked and opened the bag, inside was Christina's severed head.
Seeing this scene, he trembled. The daughter they had been searching for since morning had been brutally murdered and her head was in front of them. He immediately ran from the basement to the garage. He opened the garage door and ran out into the street screaming for help.
When a car approached him, he immediately asked to call the police. They came back home and started shouting at Thomas in anger. Even during this time Thomas only kept saying that he had no knowledge about it.
Within minutes the police arrived and Thomas was arrested.

As the police started searching the house, everyone was shocked to see this scene. It was in this house that Christina was murdered. During the investigation, bloodstains were found in the washing area in the basement, while a deeper investigation with the help of the forensic team revealed several pieces of Christina's body. Not only this, ground meat was also found in a vessel kept in the washing area. The meat was so tender that the police thought it was normal meat, however, the forensic team clarified that it was not animal meat but human.
In some vessels the meat was mixed with an acidic chemical, perhaps to hide the smell. When the ground meat and other pieces of the body were matched with Christina's dental records and family DNA, it was proven that the pieces and ground meat belonged to Christina.
During the arrest, Thomas continued to pretend that he had nothing to do with all this. However, when strictures were applied, Thomas stated that when he returned home that afternoon, Christina was found dead in the house. He feared that he might be accused of murder, so he dismembered the body and then dumped it in the ground.
According to a report by Britain's media outlet ABC, during the investigation, the medical team found that Thomas was not in a good mental state. He was mentally ill and was talking strangely.
According to the postmortem report, Christina died due to strangulation. After his death, he was stabbed multiple times, then cut with a kitchen knife and garden cutter. A hand grinder was used to grind the pieces.

A strict interrogation of Thomas was initiated. This time Thomas confessed to the crime, but then he told a new story. According to Thomas, during an argument on February 13, Christina attacked him with a sharp weapon. Christina wanted to kill him, but was killed by Thomas in self-defense. When the police recorded the statement and investigated from this angle, this story was proved false. There were no marks on Thomas' body to prove that Christina had assaulted him.
After intense police pressure, Thomas finally confessed to Christina's murder. He stated in his closing statement that he had an altercation with Christina on the night between February 12-13. In the middle of the fight, he loses his temper and strangles Christina. When Christina died, she was scared. To dispose of the body, he first placed it in the washing area of the house and cut it into pieces with a garden cutter and a kitchen knife.
He collected all the meat and began to grind the pieces one by one in the grinder. After grinding the pieces, he placed them in a large pot and added acid to finish them off. This causes the particles to completely dissolve in the chemical.
According to a Daily Mail report, Thomas first removed the intestines from Christina's body. Meanwhile, he was watching videos on YouTube for entertainment on his mobile phone. The reason for their fight is yet to be revealed.
Following Thomas's confession, the trial is underway. He applied for bail in the court, however the court did not grant him bail considering the method of killing and his mental state.
After Christina's death, her parents have custody of her children.
During the investigation, it was revealed that Christina and Thomas had been at rift for the past several months. In July last year, Christina called the Locus police and complained of physical violence. A friend of Christina's, who asked not to be identified, told Swiss media that she wanted to separate from her husband, but was afraid of Thomas' angry attitude.
During the investigation, the police found out that Thomas was a man of violent nature, who had also assaulted his ex-girlfriend before Christina. Next Saturday, September 28, read the story of model Divya Pahuja's murder. Divya's body was found in the drain. The postmortem report revealed that he was killed in the hotel room at the behest of the hotel owner.
