Manoj Bajpayee is in discussion these days about his film 'Dispatch'. Meanwhile, the actor has shared some interesting tidbits about his personal life. He said – I had an interfaith marriage with Shabana Raza. There was no family pressure on me regarding marriage.
'Me and Shabana respect each other's religion' Talking about his marriage, Manoj Bajpayee said- My father was a very broad minded person. That's why they were never against my relationship. I also tell my daughter that she should make her own decision about her religion. Both Shabana and I respect each other's religion very much. Since we both have different religions, there is never any problem in our house. Everyone has their own place regarding religion.
There was a large number of Muslims at the funeral of the father – Manoj During a conversation with Barkha Dutt, Manoj Bajpayee was asked how was the experience of marrying a Muslim girl? To which the actor replied that I did not face any problem. My father was a gentleman, he was very friendly and many of his friends were Muslims. His funeral was attended by more Muslims than Hindus. This is how I was raised.
My daughter asked what is my religion – Manoj The actor further said- Now there is a debate going on at home about my daughter's religion and which religion she will follow. My daughter once asked her mother – what is my religion? So me and her mother said that it is your decision which religion you want to follow.
I pray everyday – Manoj During this conversation, Manoj said that he worships in the temple every day. His wife follows his religion. They do not discuss religion at home.
