Rahul Gandhi breaks silence after election loss: Again questions EVMs; Said- We will analyze the unexpected results of Haryana

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's reaction to Haryana and Jammu-Kashmir election results has come out. “Heartfelt thanks to the people of Jammu and Kashmir – INDIA's victory in the state is a victory for the Constitution, a victory for democratic self-respect,” Rahul Gandhi said in a social media post on Wednesday. We are analyzing the unexpected result of Haryana. The Election Commission will be informed about the complaints coming from several assembly constituencies. Heartfelt thanks to all the people of Haryana for their support and to our Babbar Share workers for their tireless work.

Congress made this allegation Let us tell you that after the results, the Congress held a press conference and accused the Election Commission and said that this is a victory of the system and not of democracy. The party does not accept the result. Congress leaders Pawan Kheda and Jairam Ramesh held a press conference and alleged that the Haryana results are so unexpected, we cannot accept this. Serious complaints have come from many districts.

Pawan Kheda said the results are startling and in stark contrast to what we have seen at the ground level. We are getting complaints from our workers regarding vote counting. We will file a formal complaint soon. This is not a victory of democracy but of order. We cannot accept this.

Congress question on EVM

Before Rahul Gandhi's statement, Congress leader Udit Raad has raised questions on the EVMs on the Jammu-Kashmir election results. Udit Raj said that the BJP has faced a crushing defeat in Jammu and Kashmir. If Article 370 and Ram Mandir both flopped then where are they getting votes now? The Congress leader alleged that the BJP is winning through EVMs dishonestly. Election should not be done by EVM.

Jairam Ramesh said that we will go to the Election Commission in a day or two and file a formal complaint. There was pressure on the local authorities. There are many seats where we have not lost, but there we have lost. The results go against the spirit. Jammu and Kashmir has given a clear order. We will work to restore statehood. A common minimum program will be prepared.

BJP won 48 seats and Congress won 37 seats. After winning 48 seats in the assembly elections, the BJP is poised to retain power and form the government for the third time in a row. While Congress has got 37 seats. The Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) won two seats, while independent candidates won three seats. Both Janayak Janata Party (JJP) and AAP did not get any success in the elections. The vote percentage of BJP and Congress was almost equal. BJP got 39.94 percent votes while Congress got 39.09 percent votes.

Raghav Chadha attacked Congress…

The damage done to the Aam Aadmi Party, which fought the elections alone in Haryana, due to the failure to negotiate an alliance with the Congress can be estimated by looking at the election results of the five assembly seats in the state. Congress lost in Uchana Kalan by just 32 votes. Aam Aadmi Party has got 2495 votes here. In Asandh, Congress lost by 2306 votes, here AAP got 4290 votes. While in Dabwali, Congress lost by 610 votes. Aam Aadmi Party candidate has got 6606 votes from here. Similarly, AAP got 1339 votes in Dadri. Congress was defeated here by 1957 votes. Congress lost in Mahendragarh by 2648 votes. Here you got 1740 votes. That is, the Aam Aadmi Party directly damaged the Congress on five seats in the state. If both the parties had fought in an alliance, these seats might have been won. BJP has won four of these seats. While one has been won by INLD.
