The Malayalam film industry has been in an uproar after the Hema Committee report came out. Many actresses are accusing well-known producers and actors of sexual harassment. Meanwhile, a junior artiste has accused Malayalam actor Baburaj of sexual harassment. Baburaj is also the Joint Secretary of (AMMA). The allegations against Baburaj come a day after veteran Malayalam actor Siddiqui resigned from the post of joint secretary of AMMA. Siddiqui was also accused of rape by a Malayali actress. Apart from being a Malayalam actor, Baburaj is also the joint secretary of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA). Junior artiste said- He called me at home on a pretext According to media reports, the artiste said that Baburaj called her to his home in Kerala in 2019 and tried to force her there. The artist said- 'Baburaj called me on the pretext of casting him in the film. He said that there is a meeting at home in which the director and screenwriter will also be present. The artist who was sending the offending messages further said, 'When I reached his house he was there alone. He sent me to a room and asked me to wait, others are coming. After some time he came into the room and tried to force me. After this I ran away from his house and never met the actor again, but still he kept sending me offensive messages on social media. The junior artiste has also accused Baburao of misbehaving with several other women. The actor said – he knew that such allegations would be made. Baburaj denied the allegations of the artist and said that after the Hema Committee report came out, he was afraid that allegations would be made against him.
