A mahapanchayat of 45 villages of Huda Khap was held in Basantpur village of Rohtak, Haryana on Sunday (November 10) against the Bollywood film 'Do Patti'. It was presided over by Omprakash, head of Hudda Khap. The mahapanchayat expressed outrage over the film's comments on the Hooda clan.
There was a demand to remove the word hooda from the film. A decision was also taken to boycott the film. One month ultimatum has been given regarding the film. Legal action will be taken after this. A committee of 5 members has been formed in this regard.
Hudda khap says that in the scene of the film inside the court the actor is saying that Hudda lives in our neighborhood. He burned his daughter-in-law alive in the open. This is murder. The film attempts to tarnish the image of the Hooda dynasty.
Pradhan said- Daughter-in-laws are more dear than daughters Omprakash Hooda, head of Hudda Khap, said – We have objections to the film 'Do Patti', which will be released on October 25. It contains comments about gotra. We condemn this and announce a social boycott. We love our daughters-in-law more than our daughters. We will meet Bhupendra Singh Hooda and Dipendra Singh Hooda regarding this.
They will be asked to remove this scene from the film, otherwise we have no objection to the film. Today he has spoken against a caste. Tomorrow we will talk about other gotras. We have a brotherhood. We request the Center and Haryana Government to look into this.
We will take legal action peacefully. We have decided to give one month's time. After this the Khap Panchayat will be convened again. If it is not done by one khap, panchayats of all khaps will be convened.
A resolution was also passed in the Maha Panchayat that the Congress accused the BJP of tampering with EVMs and distributing money. Hooda Khap is with Bhupendra Singh Hooda and Congress in this matter.

The committee includes Hudda Khap chief Omprakash Hooda, Hudda Khap general secretary Krishna Hooda, social activists Surendra Singh Hooda, Kuldeep Ganga and Mukesh Hooda Ghuskani. He also warned that if proper action is not taken in one month, then he will call a meeting again and take strict action.
