Karwa Choth became famous through my film 'DDLJ'- Kajol: On clash with 'Singham' said- We have no comparison; Kriti shared the case of Corona

Actress Kajol, who played the role of a police officer in the film 'Do Patti', says on comparison with 'Singham' – Being a 'Singham' is not easy. This requires hard work. I am very down to earth, very humble. Yes, I can definitely consider becoming a 'Singham' if someone gives me a jeep instead of a bike. I am very afraid of riding a bike.

Kajol arrived at the Jaipur Raj Mandir (Cinema House) on Sunday with her co-star Kriti Sanon and actor Shahir Sheikh. Here he spoke during the promotion of the film. Kajol said that the Karva Choth vow was made famous by her film 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham'.

Kriti Sanon is set to produce the film, which will release on October 25 on Netflix. In this he is in a double role.

Kriti shared her memories of Jaipur. said- Earlier during the shooting of 'Mimi' she was in Mandawa (Junzhunu) of Rajasthan. That's when covid came. In such a situation, an Italian couple in the hotel where I stayed had covid. As soon as I came to know about this, I could not sleep for the whole night and developed a fever.

The star cast of the film 'Do Patti' was in Jaipur on Sunday. Meanwhile, the film was promoted at Raj Mandir Cinema Hall.

Kara Choth came into trend with 'Bole Chudia' Kajol, who came for the promotion of the film on the day of Karva Choth, said – This time I could not fast due to the promotion of the film, but before coming to Jaipur, I have prepared a thali for the puja. At home my mother-in-law touched it.

Kajol said- Karwa Choth became a trend because of my films. The song 'Bole Chudia' from 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gam' changed the atmosphere of the country. He said – Nowadays Karva Choth is being celebrated by wearing heavy jewelery and heavy lehengas. If I had known, we would have celebrated Karva Choth in pyjamas. Celebrate it by wearing a simple salwar-kameez. We are not saying that you should remove all the jewelry from the vault and wear it. After our film, the entire country's perception of Karva Choth changed.

Kajol said-

I always try to do good films. I also want to do a complete flash comedy film and I will definitely do it. This is my dream. This is on my wish list.

No contest from Singham Kajol said – I was offered many films, in which I was offered the role of a police officer. I read many scripts for this, but I never accepted it. There are many things to keep in mind while choosing a script. You have to get the right producer, you have to get the right character. If you are choosing a character, his story should also be connected in every way.

I also don't want the entire film to depend on one character. In such a situation, I found everything I wanted in the story of the film 'Do Patti'. Kajol said on the chemistry with Kriti – I have worked with Kriti after 9 years. Earlier we had worked together in 'Dilwale' and it was a great relief to see Kriti working here. Many types of changes were seen in it. This time we have worked together a lot. We didn't get that much chance together in 'Dilwale'. So it was a lot of fun to work this time.

Kajol is playing the role of a police officer in this film. On being compared to Singham, he jokingly said-

Frankly there is no competition, both the films are completely different. Our film has a mystery, suspense thriller feel, we are not releasing on big screen, we are releasing on OTT. Singham is a different kind of film.

A figure of 36 with two wheelers Kajol said – When I got the film, my first reaction to the director was that he had a problem accepting it. I have figure of 36 with two wheeler. I am very afraid of riding a bike. I also gave them the option to make the bike a jeep or a four wheeler. I could also drive a truck, but that dismissed all thoughts. My director told me this is not possible, you can't drive a truck, you can't drive a tempo. You just have to ride a bike. I explained them a lot, but I wanted to shoot only with the bike.

On the question of film city in Rajasthan, Kajol said-

I stay away from rotadu stories Kajol said- When I was 18 years old, I did the film 'Udhar Ki Zindagi', it was my third film. I did that film with a lot of heart and I had to cry a lot in that film. I cried a lot in that. After that film I told my mother 'I am completely broken' and I will not do any more films. I don't want to do films with good roles, I am tired. I want to do those films, in which the heroine has three or four songs, I want to do those films, so that I don't have to put glycerin and cry in those films.

The star cast of the film also had fun with the younger fans.

DDLJ has become a family tradition today Kajol said- DDLJ has completed 29 years. Today I met his film distributor Raj Bansal ji. We talked about this too. We were talking that we can't even register this film in the Guinness Book, because we have to update it every year. The film became national history and also part of international history. I meet many people who say that we watched this movie in a Maratha temple and then we got married. Then now our kids also go to Maratha Mandir to watch DDLJ with us. In a way, it has become a part of family tradition.

A new kind of double role in the film Kriti Sen said – People have seen double roles in many films, Sita-Geeta, Chalbaaz, Tanu and Manu Returns, there are many such films. In most of the movies I have seen, the characters playing double roles get separated at the Kumbh Mela and lead separate lives and then meet somewhere. In our film, we two sisters are not separated. In such a situation, playing two characters simultaneously, both of whom have different feelings. It was very challenging. Technically it is also very challenging. Various angles have been used in it. A few minutes after the girl I played I had to play a different kind of girl. There should be no emotion in such a situation. Doing double duty work becomes very difficult.

Memories of Rajasthan during Covid Regarding the Rajasthan connection with the film Mimi, Kriti said that she has many fond memories of Rajasthan through the film, including some shocking ones at the end. We have mostly shot this film in Mandwa. It was a very good atmosphere. When the last shoot of the film was going on, covid also started in the meantime. Kovid started from Rajasthan itself. A few cases of Italian couples and groups were reported in Jaipur itself. On the second last day of shooting, I found out that an Italian group was staying at the same hotel where I was staying. Until then there was not much information about covid and what is it? But after this I started to worry about what disease it is. I remember I couldn't sleep that night, I had a fever. But I still have many good memories from here. I came to Jaipur for the film 'Teri Baaton Mein Ulza Jiya'.

Kajol arrived at the Jaipur Raj Mandir on Sunday along with her co-star Kriti Sanon and actor Shahir Sheikh.

as a producer KritiThe beginning of Kriti Sen said- As a producer there are many responsibilities to make a film. This is my first experience of this kind. Although I did not do this work alone, I did it with my co-producer Kanika. I have two characters on screen and if I, as a producer, was there as a third character, it would have been very difficult.

Shaheer Sheikh's Bollywood Debut Shaheer Sheikh said – I had no physical preparation, but I had to understand the character and what the writer-director was thinking. Prepared myself with them. The character had many layers, this is my debut from TV to Bollywood.
