Karthik Aryan made his Bollywood debut in 2011 with the film 'Pyaar Ka Panchnama'. Before this, he struggled a lot to get a break in the film world. However, Karthik's family did not know about this. After getting the first film offer, Karthik called his mother and gave this good news.
On one hand he was crying with happiness, on the other hand his mother was horrified to hear about his film entry. He also requested the film's director Luv Ranjan to remove Karthik from the film. So that he can focus on his studies.
Karthik's mother Mala Tiwari said, 'He (Karthik) called me after his selection. He was crying with happiness. He said- Mom, I lied to you. I came to Mumbai to appear in films. On this I said – I sent you to complete your degree and settle down in life, so why are you coming to films?
I also started crying. Then he said – why are you crying? On this I said I am crying because what did that director see in you?
Karthik was asked to be dropped from the film Mala Tiwari said, 'Two days after this news I went to meet director Luv Ranjan. I asked him only one question – Why did you choose my son out of all the people in the world? Let's keep this between us and please remove my son from the film. But he refused to accept my condition. Karthik's mother allowed him to work in films only on the condition that he completes his engineering degree and keeps his promise.
Karthik was recently seen in the film 'Bhool Bhulaiya 3'. This horror comedy genre film has done well at the box office.
