Kareena Says 'I Didn't Hurt Anyone' On 'Pregnancy Bible': MP Responds In High Court; The actress was accused of hurting the religious sentiments of the Christian community

Actress Kareena Kapoor on Tuesday presented her reply in the Jabalpur High Court regarding her book Pregnancy Bible controversy. On behalf of Kareena, her lawyer told the High Court that there is nothing in the title of the book that could offend anyone's religious sentiments or offend anyone. Kareena Kapoor launched this book on 9 August 2021. Meanwhile, he called the book as his third child. Jabalpur lawyer Christopher Anthony filed a petition in the High Court in 2022 seeking registration of an FIR against Kareena Kapoor. He was accused of hurting the religious sentiments of the Christian community. The next hearing will be held on September 10. The first hearing in this matter was held in August 2022. At that time, the High Court asked the state government to be made a party as well. Advocate Anthony then submitted a memorandum to the court. During the rehearing on May 10, the court took notice of Kareena Kapoor and sought her reply. Now this case will be heard on September 10 in the court of Justice GS Ahluwalia. Kareena's lawyer made these arguments. Kareena Kapoor and Jagannath Publications have filed a reply petition in the High Court. Her lawyer Divya Krishna Billia told the court that the book titled Pregnancy Bible did not hurt anyone's religious sentiments nor was there any intention to do so. At the launch of the book, she had an online chat with Karan Johar and talked about the ups and downs of life during pregnancy. Kareena said that the second pregnancy was difficult for her compared to the first. 'The book chronicles my physical and emotional experiences during both my pregnancies,' reads the caption, 'My pregnancy and writing my 'pregnancy bible' has been a journey.' She wrote, 'There were some good days and some bad days, some days I was excited to go to work, but some days I struggled to even get out of bed. This book describes my physical and emotional experiences during both my pregnancies. These are very personal details'. Kareena became a mother again on 21 February 2021 Kareena gave birth to a second son on 21 February 2021. Earlier the son's name was called Jeh Ali Khan, but Kareena named the son Jahangir in her book. Before this, Kareena became a mother for the first time in 2016 and gave birth to Taimur. Kareena married Saif Ali Khan in 2012. Kareena told Karan- Coming home with Jeh was memorable While talking to Karan Johar online at the launch of the book, Kareena said, 'Getting pregnant the second time was very difficult, Taimur's time was not as difficult as Jeh's time. When I was pregnant, everything was very easy, I felt good. I enjoyed that period, which gave me the courage to do it again, but things were different the second time. I had to face many problems. The time of covid was also going on, I also shot following the safety protocol. It made me feel so good, I was able to be happy in difficult times. There was a constant fear in my mind that what was going to happen, if I got Covid, my baby would too. Suffered a lot of mental trauma in the last trimester. I felt my legs were 100 kg. Kareena said, 'When I returned home from the hospital after giving birth to Jeh, holding him in my arms, it was a memorable moment. After this, I would look at myself in the mirror and wonder if I would ever recover. I thought everything would be fine and I would make a comeback.
