Kareena Kapoor Talks About First Shoot Of Career: Actress Says, 'First take at 4 am after hours, JP Was scared to see Dutta's reaction'

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor made her Bollywood debut with the film Refugee in 2000. However, he had to wait for several hours on the sets to be given the first shot of the film. Recently, the actress said that she was very scared on the sets, as the film's director JP Dutta walked away without saying a word after seeing her first take.

Recently, during a conversation with Brut, Kareena Kapoor spoke about an incident that happened on the sets of her debut film Refugee. He said, I waited all day on the set for my first shot on the first day of the film. But the shot was not happening. The shot was to be done at night so I waited all night. No one was shooting and I was wondering what was going on. It was my first film.

Kareena further said that the assistant director came to me at about quarter past four in the night and said that the shot is ready. I told him it was 4 am. He said this is the intro scene. I didn't understand at all. JP Dutta (Director of Refugee) sir has a habit. He never says OK after a shot. After the shot is done, they simply pick up the camera and move it to another location. This means the shot is fine.

Kareena said in an interview that the first shot of the film Refugee was in which he removes the mask from his head and asks – can I get water. JP Dutta explained the shot to him and turned the camera. Kareena gave the shot and JP Dutta left without saying anything. Kareena got scared seeing this. He thought this was the first shot of his life and the director didn't even say OK. Kareena said that she panicked and asked the director if the shot was okay, to which she got the reply that it was okay.

On this Kareena said- There was only one take and my entire career was at stake. But J.P. Dutta said it was a good one shot. Kareena made her debut in Bollywood with the film Refugee. The film starred Abhishek Bachchan, Sunil Dutt and Jackie Shroff in lead roles.
