You cannot run away from your responsibility in matters related to certification by declaring a holiday in the name of Ganapati festival. How to guess after watching the trailer: During the court hearing, the court said that the Sikh community found the film wrong after watching the trailer and started protesting it. How can they guess after watching the trailer? The Jabalpur Sikh Sangat objected to the film and its trailer and appealed to the MP High Court to ban it. Court reprimands CBFC's lawyer Earlier, CBFC's lawyer had told the court that the certificate earlier given to Kangana's film was a system-generated mail but was later stopped due to objections. It also said that the certificate was emailed to the producers, but a physical copy was never posted. Court asked CBFC how can you send system generated email? The court asked the CBFC counsel that if their officials had initially seen the film and given the certificate, why didn't they use their brains? The court reprimanded the officer. I wish you had argued this in the MP High Court: The Bombay High Court Court further said that the Madhya Pradesh Court has given clear directions that if we accept your plea today, we will defy the order of the Madhya Pradesh Court. The court told the producers – 'We are with you, I wish you had argued in the same force before the MP High Court, then it would not have been possible for the CBFC Chairman not to sign. But now we cannot sign an order which is contrary to the order pronounced. The court did not reject the petition of the producers. Finally the court said that they are not rejecting the petition of the producers. If a week is late, the sky will not fall. The makers should have first raised these arguments before the MP High Court. The petition filed by the filmmakers claimed that the Censor Board has arbitrarily and illegally withheld the film's censor certificate. A lawyer appearing for Kangana Ranaut's production house said- We will not make any changes in the film and will release the film in the same manner as CBFC has sealed it. Zee said – We will suffer a lot due to this In a petition filed in the Bombay High Court, the production company of the film Zee said that the withholding of the certificate is a violation of the Cinematograph Act. As per this act the certificate should be stated in the prescribed format within 5 days of submission. Zee contends that without this certificate they cannot release the film and in such a situation they will suffer huge losses. 1800 cinema halls have been booked and people have booked advance tickets. This would also be a violation of their fundamental rights to freedom of expression and to pursue their profession. The MP High Court said that the matter is under consideration. Earlier, the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) informed the Madhya Pradesh High Court that they have not yet given the film a censor certificate. It was said that Kangana Ranaut's film is still under consideration and will not release on September 6.
