Kangana suffers financial loss after 'Emergency' film's release is shelved: Says, 'I put all my savings into the film, I even had to sell the bungalow'

The release of Kangana Ranaut's film 'Emergency' has caused a lot of financial loss. This is the reason why he recently had to sell his bungalow in Mumbai. Kangana herself revealed this in an interview.

In an interview to News 18, Kangana said that when my film was about to release, I invested my personal savings in it. At such times the property comes in handy, so I had to decide to sell the bungalow.

Kangana bought this bungalow in the year 2017 for 20 crore rupees.

The Mumbai bungalow that Kangana has sold was used as the office of her production house Manikarnika Films. He has sold it to Shweta Bathija of Coimbatore for Rs 32 crore. By selling it, he made a profit of Rs 12 crore. The property was located in Pali Hill, Bandra, a posh area of ​​Mumbai. Kangana bought it in 2017 for 20 crore rupees.

In September 2020, the BMC demolished Kangana's bungalow on grounds of unauthorized construction.

'Emergency' has got U/A certificate Talking about the work front, Kangana's film 'Emergency' has got the censor certificate after some changes. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given the film a U/A certificate. CBFC objected to several scenes in the film. Now the film will release in a few weeks after many cuts and changes. It was earlier scheduled to release on 6 September 2024.
