Kangana Ranaut, who is in the news due to her controversial statements, recently compared women from Himachal Pradesh with actresses born or brought up in Himachal Pradesh. Sharing pictures of actresses like Preity Zinta and Yami Gautam, the actress wrote that women who look better than her are rearing cattle for their livelihood.
Kangana shared photographs of herself as well as Preity Zinta, Yami Gautam and 'Missing Ladies' fame actress Pratibha Ranta. He also wrote, People of Himachal Pradesh. When I go to Himachal and see women who are as beautiful as us or even more beautiful than us, who work tirelessly in the fields, there is no insta, no reel, they tend sheep and goats and lead their own lives. Kangana Ranaut's post comes at a time when a survey report has revealed that Mandi town in Himachal Pradesh has the highest number of incidents of cruelty against women. Kangana Ranaut has won the Lok Sabha elections from this mandi on a Bharatiya Janata Party ticket.
Kangana's 'Emergency' will release in January After a long wait Kangana Ranaut's most awaited film Emergency is going to release on 17 January 2025. The film was supposed to release in September, but the Censor Board flatly refused to clear the film. He demanded to remove and change some controversial scenes, but Kangana was adamant about releasing it uncut. Kangana Ranaut went to court against the Censor Board. After a long wait, Kangana Ranaut has now received the certificate subject to some changes.
Actors like Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Shreyas Talpade, Milind Soman will be seen in the film along with Kangana Ranaut. In this film, Kangana has played the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
