Jaya Bhattacharya speaks out for Abol Jeev: One-and-a-half-month-old dog raped, actress pleads for justice; Rescued the puppy

Human cruelty has increased to such an extent that now even animals are not stopped from committing heinous crimes like rape. Recently, an incident of rape of a one-and-a-half-month-old puppy has come to light in Naigaon, which is adjacent to Mumbai. This was revealed by TV actress Jaya Bhattacharya during a conversation with Frontpage Insights.

Jaya Bhattacharya said – We are a dog rescue NGO. A girl from Naigaon received a call last Thursday. He said that a 24-year-old youth has been raping a one-and-a-half-month-old dog for three consecutive days in a chali of Timri village near Naigaon.

The girl said that after seeing such disgusting behavior of the young man, she first complained about it to her mother. The boy's mother defended her own son and said 'he can do whatever he wants. I will release my son as mentally challenged.'

Jaya Bhattacharya further said, 'This incident happened last Thursday evening. When we reached the Naigaon police station to complain about this on Friday, we came to know that the boy had threatened the girl who had complained. That girl lives alone in Naigaon. The delinquent boy threatened the girl that if she complained about this anywhere, he would treat her and her mother in the same way. Not only that he will poison all the 10 dogs he feeds.'

“We have lodged an FIR at the Naigaon police station, but still the culprit has been let off. Right now we are waiting for the charge sheet. We are in no mood to leave it at that. It's not just about this puppy, but about all those dumb creatures who are only a few months old, who can't express their pain, who can't defend themselves. I brought the puppy to my house. My friend is a vet, she is treating a puppy.'

'We demand justice before the country is destroyed and we want it as soon as possible. Today society has become so distorted that people do not even spare animals anymore. This perverted mentality has become unbearable now.'

Supporting Jaya Bhattacharya, actress Shibani Dandekar said about the puppy that she wants to help find a safe and loving home for her.
