Anupam Kher married actress Kiran Kher in 1985. The love life of both was much discussed. Recently, Anupam spoke about his personal life. Told him that even though his wife gave his name to Kiran Kher's son Sikandar Kher. But, sometimes it feels like not having children.
In a podcast, Anupam Kher was asked if she misses not having children. On this Anupam said, Absolutely, I regret not having children of my own. Earlier this was not happening, but since last 8-10 years I feel lonely. I was very happy with Sikandar. But if I had seen my children growing up, maybe that happiness would have been different. I say this honestly. This is not a tragedy in my life.
Anupam Kher further said, 'I have been busy most of my life, but now at the age of 50-55 I feel a void. This also happened because Kiran and Sikandar were busy with their respective lives.
Anupam divorced his first wife Madhumalathi and Kiran divorced her husband businessman Gautam Berry. Then, in 1985, both of them got married to each other. Kiran's son Sikandar was four years old when they got married.
