Karan Veer Mehra may have become the winner of Bigg Boss 18, but this season Vivian became the darling of Bigg Boss from the beginning of December. In such a situation, people hoped that he would lift the trophy of the season as well. However, Karan won the season with more votes and Vivian became the first runner-up.
In an exclusive conversation with Frontpage Insights, Vivian D'Sena said, 'Even though he didn't win the show, I got a lot of love from people and it's no less than a trophy.'
You have been a darling of Bigg Boss since the beginning. In such a situation, how has this journey been for you?
Bigg Boss journey has been great for me. I was always afraid that this reality show wasn't for me, because I wouldn't be able to be away from family at all. I didn't know how to stay indoors. But it is said that if you fear something, either run away from it or face it. The further away you are, the greater the fear will be, and if you face it, the fear will go away. My fear also disappeared.
Fights are seen in Bigg Boss. This is the highlight of the show. But your nature is different, so do you consider this the reason for your defeat? No, Bigg Boss house is a place where there is no deviation. Usually, if you are upset with life, you talk to your family, or if you are irritated by something, you discuss it with each other. That is, you do something or other so that your mind can be focused somewhere else. But the Bigg Boss house is a place where your emotions cannot be controlled and you react instantly. I think this is the sweetest part of the journey. If you conquer that situation, understand that you have conquered life. As far as anger goes, I have shouted where I got angry, but it's not my habit to get angry at someone unnecessarily. I cannot do this to appear on camera or to create any controversy.
At the beginning of the show, you appear to be friends with someone, but then you find out that it's not a friendship. Then there was an emotional moment in the finale when you came on stage. How do you see it?
Everyone has their own way of thinking in life. We are both different people. He did his own thing and I did mine. As far as being emotional after coming out of the house, the emotions I had were there for my entire journey. When Bigg Boss was speaking, my entire journey was visible before my eyes, so I got emotional.
What was the most challenging part of the whole journey and how do you see the friendships and relationships you made?
Being away from family was the most challenging thing. I was afraid that something might go wrong from my side. There were several occasions when I felt like my temper was going to explode, but I somehow kept it under control. So, I always preferred to understand the situation before saying anything.
The fans were heartbroken not to win the show, what do you tell them? And was your decision to enter Bigg Boss correct this time?
If I am here today, there must be a reason behind it. Even though we didn't win the trophy, but I believe there is definitely some reason behind everything, which we can't see at the time. So I have no complaints about anything. I understand that my fans are emotional and feel that the trophy should have come home, but I have received a lot of love, so it is nothing less than a trophy for me.
