Recently the actor talked about how parents make various sacrifices for their children. Talking about his family, he thanked wife Aishwarya for staying at home taking care of daughter Aaradhya.
Talking to 'The Hindu', Abhishek Bachchan revealed how mother sacrifices her career while father works for the family. He said, 'In my house, I am lucky that I get a chance to go out and do films, but I know that Aishwarya is at home with Aaradhya and I am very thankful to her for that.
Abhishek breaks his silence about Aishwarya Abhishek recalled how Jaya Bachchan put her career on hold, while Amitabh Bachchan worked for the family. My mother stopped acting when I was born because she wanted to raise children. We never felt that dad was not around.

Amitabh used to come at night At one point, I could not see my father for weeks and he would sleep in the room next to mine, he recalled. The door to my sister's room and the master bedroom was always open. He always comes after we sleep and leaves before we wake up the next morning. Despite his busy schedule, I don't remember any of my school functions or basketball finals that he missed. At the end of the day, he was always there for us.
