The film will release on January 17 after getting the green signal from the Censor Board. The film was earlier slated to release on 6 September 2024, but did not receive clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

3 scenes were deleted from the film About 4 months ago, the CBFC had withheld the film's certificate after objections from Sikh organizations. CBFC had instructed to delete 3 scenes from this film. Along with this, a strict instruction was given that 10 changes should be made to the film before its release. Kangana also expressed anger about this.
