Prateek Babbar recently opened up about his drug addiction. The actor said that he was addicted to drugs since the age of 13. It is not that all this happened because of the fame of the film industry. But yes, it had a huge impact on both his personal and professional life. However, he is slowly moving on from this now.
In an interview given to Bollywood Bubble, Prateek Babbar said, 'People think that I started taking drugs after entering the film industry and getting fame and money. But that is not true. My drug addiction started at the age of 13. I was brought up differently and my family situation was a bit complicated, because of which I started taking drugs. I had already started using drugs because of the fame and money of the film industry.
Prateek said, 'Pain is associated with pain. Until that pain is healed, it affects your relationships and even your life. However, there are times when you have to work hard to make things right. I have been doing this for many years.
Talking about his fiancée and actress Priyanka Banerjee, Prateek said, 'Priyanka has supported me a lot in my difficult times. We help each other. Priyanka needs no correction though. It is absolutely perfect. This is life, here you just have to keep moving forward.
Recently, Prateek Babbar was seen in the film 'Khwabon Ka Zamela'. This film is directed by Danish Aslam. Apart from this, Prateek will also be seen in Salman Khan's film Sikandar.
