Actor Sonu Sood has revealed that he was offered the post of CM and Deputy CM. However, he rejected it. The reason for its rejection was the fear that the freedom to help people without any discrimination would be lost.
In a conversation with Humans of Bombay, Sonu Sood said – I was offered the post of Chief Minister. When I refused, he asked me to become Deputy CM. There were many big people of this country, who even offered me a Rajya Sabha seat. He told me to accept it and not to fight for anything in politics. It's an exciting time, when so many powerful people want to meet you and encourage you to make a difference.
Sonu Sood said – People come into politics for money and power Sonu Sood further said that he wants to stay away from politics as he fears losing his freedom to help people. He said that if they were responsible to someone, they would not be able to help freely as now. He said – people come into politics for two reasons: to make money and for power, and I am not obsessed with either. If the point is to help people, I'm already doing it.
Sonu Sood may enter politics in future Sonu Sood said that he is not against politics. He has many friends who are politicians and doing excellent work. The actor further said that he might change his mind in future and would like to join politics and help the country. But he is not ready for this yet.
