Rumors and controversies in the TV industry sometimes become a part of actors' lives. Recently, there were many rumors about Anuj Kapadia aka Gaurav Khanna from 'Anupama' leaving the show. Speaking to Frontpage Insights on these rumours, Gaurav said that he never paid attention to these discussions.
I don't like to get into trouble When Gaurav Khanna was asked about the rumors of a controversy with the show's lead actress Rupali Ganguly, he said, When actors leave the show one after another, it becomes a big topic of discussion. People always think that everyone leaves because of a personality. But I will not say more on this, because everyone has their own thinking and understanding. If a person leaves, he himself knows what is right and what is wrong.
I have always stayed away from rumors and negativity. I have to do my work with all my hard work and dedication until the director says 'cut'. Everything else is secondary. Actors job is only to act, not to be part of meaningless discussions.
There are some actors who enjoy these rumours, who promote these things to bring themselves into the limelight. But I am a little different. I work and then quietly go on my way. I have no interest in getting into trouble, I just focus on my work.
Anuj Kapadia's character stretched from a three-month cameo to three years Gaurav said that Anuj's character in 'Anupama' started as a three-month cameo, but it extended to three years due to audience love. It's a female-centric show, but it was pretty special to see a male character getting so much love for Pride.
Now I am also looking at OTT projects When I started playing the character of Anuj, I got a lot of love. It was a big deal for me that a male character got so much love in a show like 'Anupama'. However, Rajan sir recently said that Anuj is not needed in the story now and asked me to focus on new projects. I have always tried to play my character in a new way. Now I am also looking at OTT projects. There are great and varied job opportunities. This will give me an opportunity to test myself as an actor in a new way.
Fame is gone one day; Hard work and honesty are always remembered Gaurav Khanna also expressed his views on social media and trolling. That said, the world of social media has advantages, but it also comes with disadvantages. But I never consider trolling wrong, because it's all part of the job. The most important thing for me is how professional I am in my work and whether I am able to deliver what viewers and producers expect from me. I believe that fame goes away one day, but an artist's hard work and sincerity always remain in people's hearts.
