The process of bringing the accused Anmol Bishnoi from America in the shooting case at actor Salman Khan's house has started. On April 14, two bikers fired at Salman's house. However, there was no loss of life and property. Anmol is the younger brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is lodged in Sabarmati Jail.
A senior officer of Mumbai Police's crime branch said the Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act (MCOCA) court has already issued a non-bailable warrant for Anmol's arrest. The court has also issued a red corner notice to trace him abroad.
According to Mumbai Police, some court documents are currently awaited, after which a formal proposal for extradition will be sent to the central government for further action. The special court on October 16 allowed his crime branch petition. Hopefully the police will get the documents soon.
Earlier on October 25, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) had announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for the arrest of Anmol Bishnoi, brother of gangster Lawrence. Apart from firing at Salman's house, Anmol is also accused of murdering Punjabi singers Sidhu Moosewala and Baba Siddiqui.

At 5 am on April 14, two bike-borne assailants fired four rounds at Salman's home Galaxy Apartment. Salman was at his home at the time of the firing. After the incident, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde spoke to Salman Khan on phone. Shinde asked the Mumbai Police Commissioner to increase Salman's security.
The Lawrence Bishnoi Group claimed responsibility for the firing. Group member Anmol Bishnoi shared a post. In which it was written that Salman may also be attacked in the future. However, this post has not been confirmed by the police.
Lawrence threatened Salman in March 2023 In March 2023, Salman Khan's security was increased after receiving a threat from Lawrence Bishnoi. He has got Y+ category security from Government of Maharashtra. The NIA said Khan topped the list of 10 people who were threatened with death by jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The Bishnoi community is furious over the 1998 blackbuck poaching incident, citing which Lawrence threatened to kill Salman in a TV interview.

1. In June 2022, when Salman's father Salim Khan, who was out for a morning walk, returned home, he received an unknown letter threatening to kill him and Salman. It was written in the letter – 'Salman Khan will make your condition like Moosewala.' After this, Salim Khan contacted the police with the help of his security personnel and a case was registered in this regard at the Bandra Police Station. 2. Last year, the Mumbai police arrested a man who called Salman and threatened to kill him. The person making the threat was a 16-year-old minor. While threatening the Mumbai Police through the call, he mentioned his name as Rokibhai. He said he was a resident of Jodhpur, Rajasthan and would kill Salman on April 30. 3. Last year, Dhakdram, a resident of Jodhpur, sent 3 e-mails to Salman's official mail. In which it was written that Salman Khan is your next number, as soon as you come to Jodhpur you will be killed like Sidhu Moozwala. 4. In January 2024, two unknown persons tried to enter Salman Khan's farm house by breaking the fencing wire. After being caught by the police, both of them declared themselves as fans of Salman. A fake Aadhaar card was recovered from him. Due to this, an FIR has also been registered against both of them. Salman Khan is targeted by the Lawrence gang.

Anmol Bishnoi runs a gang from America In May 2023, the NIA's charge sheet revealed that every decision of the gang's Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar was like an order. Lawrence's cousin Sachin Thapan looks after the recruitment and planning of new criminals.

This is the reason why when a person is arrested, he cannot give much information to the police about other associates. Currently Sachin Thapan and Vikram Brar have been caught by the police and are in jail.
