Film 'Emergency' box office collection: 5.92 crore collection in 2 days, breaking the record of Kangana Ranaut's Hindi films released in 5 years

Kangana Ranaut's film 'Emergency' has been released on January 17. Amid controversies, the film has been receiving critical acclaim, although the film has taken a slow start in terms of collections. The film had an opening collection of 2.50 crores on the first day. On the second day i.e. Saturday, the film's earnings saw a jump of 39 percent.

According to a report by box office tracker website Sacnilk.com, the film Emergency collected Rs 3.42 crore on the second day. Along with this, the film's earnings have reached 5.92 crore rupees in 2 days. It is expected that the earnings of the film will increase today i.e. Sunday.

The record of Kangana's Hindi films released in 5 years was broken

Despite earning only Rs 5.92 crore in 2 days, Kangana Ranaut has broken the records of her films released in the last 5 years. In the last 5 years, Kangana was only seen in Hindi films 'Dhakad' and 'Tejas'. While Rs. 70 crore 'Tejase' cost only Rs. 5.6 crore earned, while Rs. 85 crore 'Ghakde' at the box office only Rs. Earned 3.77 crores. Talking about Kangana Ranaut's South films, her 'Chandramukhi 2' could collect only Rs 40 crore in 5 years, but this film made on a budget of Rs 65 crore was also a flop. While 'Thalaivi' was also a failure earning 4.98 crores.

Kangana Ranaut's 'Emergency' is clashing with Ajay Devgan, Rasha Thada starrer 'Azaad'. Both the films have released together on 17 January. While Kangana's film has collected Rs 5.92 crore in two days, 'Azaad' has collected Rs 2.58 crore. Apart from these two films, Allu Arjun's film 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' is also in competition. The film has earned Rs 1.10 crore on its 38th day of release i.e. last Saturday. In this way the total Indian collection of the film has reached 1226 crores. The film has earned around 1800 crore rupees worldwide.

Sadhguru attended the special screening of Emergency

On 17 January, a special screening of the film Emergency was held at PVR, Juhu, where spiritual guru Sadhguru was also present. Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut and Anupam Kher welcomed him. He also took blessings for the success of the film, the video of which is going viral on social media.

Users are also commenting heavily on this video of Kangana. One wrote, 'Hindu lioness Kangana Ranaut.' Another wrote, 'These are rituals.' A third wrote, 'Only He can do this.'

Kangana said, 'It is our good fortune that Sadhguruji came to watch our film. I had a great crew and amazing actors in the film. It was great for us to work with a National Award winning actor. If I can make a film with such good people, what a big deal.

Spiritual Guru Sadhguru said, 'It has been 50 years since Emergency was imposed in India. In such a situation, the youth should watch such films to know the history. This raises some questions in our mind but we should avoid taking anything for granted. The question is whether we have learned anything from it.

Anupam Kher said, 'Sadguru came to our screening, which makes us feel very good. In this film, Kangana has acted as well as directed. He has done a great job in this film and for this we thank him.
