Little did the fans who came to watch Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa 2 – The Rule' know that they would be in for a shock rather than a surprise at the theatres. Due to the buzz created about the film, the fans who came to watch 'Pushpa-2' at Cinepolis Center Square Mall in Kochi on Friday were in high spirits. The film started around 3 hours 15 minutes and the fans started enjoying it, but they were shocked when the lights came on during the interval and they saw the credits of 'The End' appear on the screen.
The second half was shown in the first half It didn't take long for the fans to realize that the second half of the movie in theaters was shown to them in the first half itself. The film 'Pushpa-2' directed by Sukumar was originally made in Telugu and audiences came to watch its Tamil version. But when they realized during the interval that they were not shown the first half of the film, the angry audience rushed to the ticket window and demanded their money back. Some fans agreed that the first half should be shown later.
Some took the money back, some then watched the first half According to a media report, an audience member said, “We were in no mood to go back without watching the first half. Maybe only then would we have judged how powerful the film's climax would be.” Under pressure from the audience, the theater owners started the first half at around 9 pm, which lasted until barely 10 pm. The cinema owners promised that the viewers' money would be returned to their accounts. It may be noted that there is a lot of discussion going on about Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandana's film.
