Actress Gitanjali Mishra cried while saying this. Geetanjali, who has appeared in many TV serials and films, had a tough start.

Today, when I have made my name, the same relatives follow me. Gitanjali became emotional several times while narrating her story of struggle and success. However, his enthusiasm and confidence did not wane.

Family members had a problem with this as their page showed the heroine in short clothes. I was always told to stay within the rules. There was no freedom to do anything out of bounds.

A woman named Seema Sharma lives in the building where I live in Mumbai. She was involved in the direction department in the television industry. He and I have a good friendship.
He needed a female artist for the role of a doctor in the serial 'Piya Ka Ghar'. He asked me so I sent a girl to him. Everything was finalized, but the girl did not reach the set on the day of shooting.
I made a mistake, so I had to make amends. 'Cause I was the one who recommended that girl. Obviously, the responsibility became mine. I got a call saying who have you sent, how will the shooting be completed now? I apologized to him. I asked Seema to tell me what I can do. He said you come and work yourself. I didn't even remotely think about acting, but at that time there was no other option but to go there.
Alok Nath calls suddenly, she goes to him scared 'I went to the set scared. My eyes lit up when I saw the star cast of the serial I went for. Many big actors like Alok Nath, Suhasini Mule and Sulbha Arya were part of this serial. As soon as I reached there, I was told that there was no time to elaborate, read the script quickly and get ready for the shot. What could I do, within minutes I memorized a one-page script and spoke to the camera.
As soon as the shot was over, people started clapping. I was stunned, I didn't understand why there was applause. Then Alok Nathji called me and I was scared, I thought I had done something wrong. He said son, this is the first time? I said – yes sir, I have faced the camera for the first time. He clapped his hands and said that you have done a great job.
Geetanjali Mishra found work in the serial Ittphakan, but little did he know that this was his future.
I didn't look at acting again for two years, then a coincidence happened. 'After this I did not look back to acting for two years. Then two years later another similar incident happened. Once again Seema remembered me. This time he called me for the Sony TV show 'Ek Ladki Anjaani Si'. I worked on that show for 6 months. Soon after this I got a lead offer in a show on Doordarshan. Now gradually I started feeling that maybe I was made for this job.
Relatives started saying – Mishraji's daughter has gone out of hand. 'I used to go to the sets with Seema Didi (director) and then go back home with her. Because of this the mother did not worry too much. She knew I wouldn't go astray. However, my relatives did not like me joining the industry. They started saying – Hey, Mishraji's daughter got out of hand. He felt the air of Bombay.
When an old woman said – I will hit you with a slipper “I have worked in many episodes of Crime Patrol and Savdhan India. I have mostly done negative roles there. Once I played such a negative role that people started criticizing me outside. One day I was walking in the mall, an old lady came up to me and said – you have no shame, how can you do such a bad thing? I will take off my slippers and kill you.
I was shocked for a while after hearing the woman's words. Felt a little bad too. I started thinking that should I play such a dirty role? However, later I realized that I should have taken the lady's words as a compliment. Maybe I acted so well on screen that people started to perceive me as the same in real life.
Geetanjali gained recognition by acting in TV series based on crime shows, but in real life too she faced many problems.
