'We have to be responsible towards films'
Ranbir recently arrived at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa where he was asked a question about his film 'Animal'. Ranbir was asked if his film is having a negative impact on the society, to which Ranbir clarified. Ranbir said, 'I completely agree with your opinion. As actors, it is our duty to bring films that have a positive impact on society.'
Ranbir continued, 'But it's also true that I'm an actor and it's important for me to keep playing different types of characters. But what you say is absolutely true. We have to be more responsible towards the films we are making.'
This is not the first time that Ranbir has been asked questions about his film 'Animal'. Even before this, he has been asked many questions about the film in many interviews and podcasts. The film featured excessive fighting and bloodshed on several occasions. 'Animal' turned out to be Ranbir Kapoor's biggest film till date for which he received accolades from all quarters. The violence in the film 'Animal' was much debated, with its director Sandeep Reddy Vanga strongly supporting the violence shown in the film.
